Everyone and their mother has been posting about this thing, so I was going to skip blogging about it…but oh man, is that thing fun!
I made the images below out of a couple shots from the Madonna Inn I had lying around. Of course you should just do the real thing at Polariod Apocalypse.

A heartfelt political blog, by grannies. So cool!

My name is Helen Philpot. I am 82 years old. My grandson taught me how to do this so that I could “blog” with my best friend Margaret Schmechtman who I met in college almost 60 years ago. I have three children with my husband Harold. Margaret has three dogs with her husband Howard. I live in Texas and Margaret lives in Maine.

Time lapse photography with a TI-85 graphing calculator

My friend Ed made this sweet time lapse using his TI-85 as an intervalometer.

How cool is this thing?
Looks like you can’t buy one though.

Girl’s Heart

Lastly, this youtube video blew my mind. It gets extra cool in the last half or so.

+ Jenny Holzer

I’ve talked about her before on this blog, so I won’t go on at length about it, but here are a couple quotes from her “living” series:

YOU SHOULD LIMIT THE NUMBER OF TIMES
YOU ACT AGAINST YOUR NATURE,
LIKE SLEEPING WITH PEOPLE YOU HATE.
IT’S INTERESTING TO TEST YOUR
CAPABILITIES FOR A WHILE
BUT TOO MUCH WILL CAUSE DAMAGE

IT IS UNFAIR TO TEAR SOMEBODY APART
WHEN HER HEALTH AND EXUBERANCE
THREATEN YOU

+ tomorrow’s post will be late, but from New York City! Ooh!

With San Diego Comicon looming, my book release on Wednesday, and various other life-type things to deal with…I’ve been a bit lax on the blogging.

I suspect things will continue to be a bit be a bit spotty for the next week, but don’t fret!
I have new videos and other such awesome on the way for you!

In the meantime, here are a few photos from my weekend visiting the Aquarium and the Conservatory of Flowers.
