Star St.Germain is a tornado disguised as a girl.
Her parents met in a trainwreck in a small suburban town in central Massachusetts.
After she crawled from the ash, Star terrorized Washington DC, Boston, and Los Angeles before settling in San Francisco, California.
She lends her skills to the experimental performance group, We Used to Talk, as the cellist, video artist, and vocalist.
She has modeled for photographers like David LaChapelle, Jake Appelbaum, and Kristin Cofer. She is currently employed doing front-end web development and design for kink.com.
As such, she works in a castle in the heart of the mission district, and wears roller skates every day.
She has contributed illustration and comics to books like Comic Book Tattoo for Tori Amos / Image Comics, and magazines like Weird Tales, $pread, and Other. In 2009, she launched ThisIsStar Jewelry, a laser cut acrylic jewelry collection based on typographical forms.
She co-hosts Destroy All Podcasts, a commentary on animated cinema, for Collection DX.
She never sleeps.
Stars burn bright, and Star St. Germain is no different. Whether working in crafts, music, or art, Star is an endlessly creative individual.
